Zayd's trip to the mosque is a story about a dinosaur named Zayd who wanders around his neighbourhood and stumbles upon a mosque. His visit to the mosque changes how he feels forever.
BACKGROUND
Why write a children's book?
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been captivated by children's books. They always felt like a giant hug, and I promised myself that as I grew older and improved my writing and drawing skills, I would create my own books for children.
One day, while mindlessly scrolling through social media, I came across a comment that said "deenosaurus." I found it to be a clever pun, and it stuck with me. Inspired, I ended up crafting an entire story about a dinosaur who visits a mosque and experiences religion for the first time.

Visualizing the concept through storyboarding
After writing the story, I began sketching the concept and visualizing it. The story is quite short—more like a comic—and consists of eight frames. It’s written in a playful, childlike poem creating a rhythmic flow.
